Currently Onsite: THREE of 15 total units under construction have hit the market (one unit is already reserved)! All three units currently being advertised in the multiple listing service are on the second floor as progress to complete the 3rd and 4th floor units continues at a rapid pace! All flooring, tile, and preliminary painting is completed. Lighting and plumbing fixtures are installed and Thermador appliances are being installed as quickly as they continue to arrive from the vendor. Two big items are nearing completion this week – the elevator was installed and is awaiting inspections and the lobby and corridor concrete floors are getting polished.
Pictured below is unit #201, which is 1900 sq ft, with mountain views. See all it's photos and a virtual walk-through at www.TheCollectionLoveland.com.

Currently Onsite: The arrival of Autumn leads to dramatic color changes for local foliage as well as at The Collection! Scaffolding has been removed making way for completion of the finish cementitious exterior siding called “Nichiha” which is currently going up on the west side (no more tangy yellow weather-proofing membrane!). Next up, the primary electrical transformer (the big green boxes you see scattered around town) will be switched-out for a new and upgraded unit providing the main power supply to the building. Utility includes an updated natural gas supply connection. The gorgeous custom-designed kitchen and bathroom cabinets have already been installed in units on second and third floors while the top floor units are having cabinets delivered soon (along with hundreds of gorgeous gola and j-channel cabinet pulls and knobs.
Currently Onsite: The next few months will fly by, as things are changing quickly at 205 E 6th St.! The second floor has been painted, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry installed and tile is being laid as we speak. A team consisting of folks from Dehn Real Estate, Loveland Design and Atreyu Interiors started working on this project two years ago to perfect the look of each of the 15 homes in The Collection as well as each common area. To see each home come to fruition is so satisfying. We’re working from floor two, up, so the fourth-floor drywall is hung and being finished with a beautiful, smooth finish.
Currently Onsite: This month we have something VERY exciting to announce! Future residents of The Collection will enjoy custom cabinetry, courtesy of Genesis Innovations. Genesis is nationally renowned for their cabinetry in luxury hotels, spas, restaurants and retail, as well as custom homes in the very finest communities in the country. We are so lucky to have this company based right here in Loveland and are ecstatic to have their work in the project! Please check out some of their work, featured on their website at the link above.
This month we'll see the second floor really take shape. The walls are up and we'll see paint, as well installation of tile, thanks to Loveland Design, and custom cabinetry with a modern flare from Genesis. Moving from floor two, up, the third floor insulation is ongoing, as crews finish spray foam and begin drywalling. The garage doors have been installed for the four private garages, offering easy access from the alley on the north side of the building for the owners of Units A3, A4, B3 and B4. The man-door from 3 of these garages will lead directly into the north side lobby, just steps from the elevator. These private garages are billed as 1.5 spaces on the website, but could technically fit two small cars. Their doors are 7 ft. tall and 14 ft. wide and there is a 9 ft. ceiling. The interior of each private garage is 21.5 ft. deep and 18 ft. wide. Currently Onsite: We’ve got a lot going on – things are cookin’ this month! The exterior weather proofing is complete; including the sealant that is a bright yellow color – don’t worry, it won’t stay that way! The exterior insulation and stucco application has begun. The finished exterior will be a few different materials, including Nichiha (a fiber cement siding product), stucco, and brick. Lastly, the storefront glass on the first floor has been installed.
Currently Onsite: Progress continues with exterior weatherproofing, which includes applying sheathing and the roof membrane, along with installation of exterior windows and doors. Each condo's interior framing has continued, as well as the roughing in of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire suppression systems.
The commercial spaces on the main level have taken shape and are being advertised for sale or lease. If you know someone who might be interested, please reach out to Jared Goodman with Cushman Wakefield, (970) 267-7723 or Hilary Dehn with Dehn Real Estate, (720) 261-8606. Up Next: Ceilings will be built (see photo for reference), interior walls will be framed and drywall will go up. Then, can lights can be hung! Currently Onsite: The Collection, 6th Street Condos construction is progressing steadily, with multiple activities underway. The exterior sheathing is ongoing, which involves installing protective barriers to ensure a secure and weather-resistant building envelope. Meanwhile, the interior steel framing is also taking shape, providing structure for the interior spaces. To see the spacious interiors of these units taking shape is exciting, to say the least!
Currently Onsite: One of the wonderful things about this project is seeing all the attention to detail being applied at each stage of the build-out. Following completion of the critical structural iron work and concrete subfloor placement in November, attention has turned to enclosing the building. The multi-stage process of ‘weathering-in’ the building envelope includes sheathing the exterior of the building, finishing plumbing the roof drains so roofing may begin in the next several weeks. All of this will allow for interior framing to continue without being weather dependent. If you drive by the building in the evenings, you’ll notice the temporary construction lighting has been installed to facilitate interior work as well as added security.
Next Up: Preparation/Staging for all the electrical work will begin as the roof and exterior envelope is completed. Reservations/Contracts: 13 of the 15 units are still available and we anticipate completion in late Fall 2023. Be sure to reserve your unit today! |
